I will address some of the most common questions about colon hydrotherapy below:

Can Colon Hydrotherapy Prevent Disease?
Hippocrates claimed that chronic disease is a result of auto- intoxication, i.e., self-poisoning due to constipation. A sluggish colon can result in continued bacterial breakdown of the feces, which in turn produces many poisons that are assimilated into the blood. When left to build up for years and years, this putrefying waste can lead to pre-cancerous conditions in the colon.
Do Enemas and Laxative Accomplish the Same thing?
Enemas can do a good job of cleaing out the lower 8-12 inches of the colon. Colonic irrigation, on the other hand, cleans the entire 5 feet of the colon.
Laxatives act as an irritant to the colon thus causing the body to produce a watery substance that is secreted into the colon and helps to move some fecal matter. The process leaves behind much of the toxins and waste material.
What can you expect during a Colon Hydrotherapy session?
Most people find Colon Hydrotherapy a relaxing, gentle experience. The highest quality products and sanitary standards are incorporated. Filtered, temperature-regulated water is introduced into the colon through a disposable speculum, while you enjoy a gentle massage of the abdomen. This is a Closed System/gravity free standing machine with a fully integrated disinfecting system, dual automatic pressure control, automatic temperature control, full specturm waste, pathway lighting, triple water purificaiton system and wide-angle viewing. The colon therapist assists throughout the procedure. The speculum is connected to 2 disposable hoses, one is an inflow and one is an outflow. Both hoses are connected to the machine. All debris is enclosed and travels through the outflow hose into the machine and out into the waste pipes. It is a very safe and clean procedure. The client can observe the entire treatment.
